community

We take very seriously our responsibilities to both our community and the environment. We are committed to developing, advancing and sharing our responsible business and community activities in an ethical manner, with due consideration on the social wellbeing of all.

We actively promote a positive working culture and encourage our staff to engage with and get involved in their local communities, be that with charities or volunteering, participating in events as well as other activities. We have sponsored various property cycle challenges where the charities mean a lot to us, and are keen supporters of grass root sports providing kit and equipment to several local teams.

We also take very seriously our duty to protect and preserve the environment for future generations. Our detailed Environmental Management System conforms to ISO14001:2015 and is regularly reviewed to ensure we are doing everything possible to reduce the impact our work has on the planet, and work in an ethical way that filters down to our supply chain.

That means we promote environmental awareness not only amongst our staff but also tradespeople, operatives, suppliers, contractors and partners. We do this through implementation of our operational procedures which actively seek ways to minimise construction waste on site as well as considering carefully our material selection.

Update on community:

See what we have been up to this year:

Charities supported by us and our staff include:

quality, health & safety

We do not compromise on quality, health or safety.

We take pride in providing the highest level of health, safety and quality on all of our projects, whatever the size, for all of our clients. Our accreditation to ISO9001:2015 means we constantly evaluate our procedures and processes, rigorously apply them and look at ways to improve.

We are committed to implementing the highest standards of health & safety practice, in conducting our work activities and general business undertakings.

Our internal Health & Safety League allows us to continually evaluate our standards across all of our projects, implement training and encourage all our staff to ensure health & safety remains at the heart of everything we do. Our efforts are supported by our Achilles Building Confidence Level 5 accreditation, which we work hard to maintain.

We also continue to evaluate and proactively improve our approach to the occupational health and wellbeing of our staff.  With a heavy focus this year across all sectors on mental health, we have, like many others, implemented Mental Health First Aid training for everyone, as well as putting in place a new Mental Health First Aid Committee & First Aiders to actively support our all of staff.
